Yoga& Styles: Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Pre-natal

Within all types of sessions and workshops, I offer different styles of yoga based on our agreement

Yoga is 'yuj', which, at its heart, means union. It’s about reconnecting—body with breath, movement with stillness, and mind with heart. On the mat, we practice weaving these parts of ourselves back together, so that we can feel more whole, more grounded, and more at ease. But yoga as union is also about connection beyond ourselves—remembering that we are part of something bigger: community, nature, and the wider world. Through practice, we soften the sense of separation and return to a more profound feeling of belonging.

Hatha and vinyasa yoga flows

Power, flow, slow, and vin yin sequences

Move dynamically with strength and breath in sequences that range from powerful and energising to slow, grounding flows. Each class balances body, mind, and breath for a full practice.

Yin and restorative yoga

Slow and restful sequences

Long-held, gentle poses invite deep release and calm, supporting the parasympathetic nervous system to settle and restore balance. A practice for softening, releasing tension, slowing down, and letting go.

Pre-and post-natal yoga

Sequences tailored for pregnant bodies

Safe, supportive sequences designed for pregnancy and new parenthood—building strength, creating space, and nurturing body and mind through change.

A note on space

I don’t have a permanent practice space. This means that classes take place either in your own setting—like a living room, office, or community hall—or in a yoga studio or venue that I can help book. If we need to arrange an external location, the cost of the space is simply added either to the booking or you can book and pay directly at the chosen facility. This flexibility allows us to create the best possible environment for your practice. If you’re unsure about space, I’m happy to guide you through some options.

Honouring the roots of yoga

With humility and gratitude, I aim to hold space where anyone can practice the ancient wisdom of yoga with integrity, respect, and care for both tradition and the present moment.

Yoga is a practice with ancient roots in the land we now call India, born from a deep philosophy of connection, compassion, and liberation. Yoga is rooted in philosophy, practice, and a way of living that seeks harmony of body, mind, spirit, and the world around us. At its core are teachings such as the Yoga Sutras and the Eight Limbs and the Bhagavad Gita, which remind us that yoga is far more than movement—it is a holistic path of ethical living, compassion for self and others, and an embodiment of yoga's values and traditions.

In practicing and sharing yoga today, it is essential to remember and honour the teachers, wisdom keepers, and communities who carried this knowledge across centuries, allowing us to learn from it now. Each time we step onto the mat, we are part of a long lineage of seekers and practitioners. What a gift they have given us, sharing this knowledge all the way up to today.

Yoga also invites us into connection with the natural world—the land beneath us, the air we breathe, the fire of transformation, the flow of water, and the spaciousness of sky. By acknowledging these elements, we deepen our sense of belonging and respect for the broader web of life.

I acknowledge my teachers and influences - in life, in spirit, in study, in teaching me the traditions of yoga.
