Yoga er 'yuj', som, i dets kerne, betyder union eller forening/fællesskab/forbindelse. Det handler om at genetablere forbindelser - krop med åndedræt, bevægelse med stilhed, og hjerne og hjerte. På yogamåtten praktiserer vi hvordan, vi kan væve disse dele af os selv sammen igen, så vi kan føle os mere hele, skabe jordforbindelse, og finde lethed.
Men yoga som 'union', handler også om forbindelser, der går udenfor os selv - som en påmindelse om, at vi er del af noget større: fællesskab, naturen, verden. Gennem praksis, kan vi opløse vores oplevelse af at leve separeret og returnere til grundfølelser af at høre til, at høre hjemme.

Dedicated to climate and social justice actions, we offer free* sessions and workshops for volunteer teams to inspire a healthier planet and compassion for self and others.
Why yoga, meditation, breathwork, nervous system regulation, and philosophy might make sense to your volunteers:
- Bodily and mental integration of compassion and loving-awareness for all sentient beings

A note on space
I don’t have a permanent practice space. This means that classes take place either in your own setting—like a living room, office, or community hall—or in a yoga studio or venue that I can help book. If we need to arrange an external location, the cost of the space is simply added either to the booking or you can book and pay directly at the chosen facility. This flexibility allows us to create the best possible environment for your practice. If you’re unsure about space, I’m happy to guide you through some options.

At ære og forstå yogaens rødder
Med ydmyghed og taknemmelighed ønsker jeg at skabe et rum, hvor alle kan lære af og praktisere yogaens oldgamle visdom med respekt, integritet og omtanke for både traditionen og nuet
Yoga har sine rødder i det land, vi i dag kalder Indien, og udspringer af en dyb filosofi om forbindelse, medfølelse og frigørelse. Yoga er mere end fysisk bevægelse – det er en praksis, en filosofi og en livsform, som søger harmoni mellem krop, sind, sjæl og verden omkring os. I centrum står blandt andet Yoga Sutraerne og "the Eight Limbs", som minder os om, at yoga handler om etisk levevis, medfølelse med os selv og for andre, og at ånds- og kropsliggøre værdierne og traditionerne fra yoga.
Når vi i dag praktiserer og deler yoga, er det vigtigt at huske og ære de lærere, visdomsbærere og fællesskaber, som har bevaret denne viden gennem århundreder, så vi kan lære af den nu. Hver gang vi træder op på vores yogamåtte, bliver vi en del af en lang linje af søgende og udøvere, studerende og lærere. Hvilken gave, de har givet os ved at videregive denne viden helt frem til i dag.
Yoga inviterer os også til at forbinde os med naturen – jorden under os, luften vi indånder, forvandlingens ild, vandets strøm og universets rummelighed. Når vi anerkender disse elementer, styrker vi vores følelse af tilhørsforhold og respekt for livets store netværk.
